What We Do

The vision of the BHS is:

A society which provides a strong voice for horses and people and which spreads awareness through support, training and education.

The mission of the BHS is:

To work, in the spirit of partnership with energy, commitment and knowledge, to promote the highest standards in all areas of equestrianism.

We, as the BHS Scotland Central Committee, are here to help you. We have specialists in all sorts of areas including welfare, access, safety, riding schools, riding clubs and training. We also have access to a legal advisor and honorary veterinary surgeon.

We are all enthusiastic, willing and informed volunteers who are here for the benefit of all our members.
